FMC cabinets

Actually, I own a 4126 (thanks Hans!) and I'm completely overwhelmed by the sound this set (Mywatt + FMC) delivers. I really like the rock sound of 15" speakers but I'm always searching for the punch 10" can give you. Those 12" speakers give me both!!

Last friday I finally had the chance of testing the cab live.
The room, a big old factory hall, was far beyond ideal (the drums sounded fantastic when playing solo by the way). Lots of reverb, echo, a crappy PA and no monitors but I had no problems at all hearing myself.

One little point of criticism: The speaker grille could be from a higher quality if you ask me. The rest of the cab is built like a tank, but the grille could be more dureable. Probaly gonna built a new one myself now.

Thinking about a 2x15 to complete a real rig of doom since I'm asked to play in a sludge/stoner band. Sweet!!

@ morog. A 600 Watt 210 Cab is surely possible but not realy needed. The FMC 210 Neo with Eminence Deltalight Speakers can handle about 500 Watt. I think more than 500 Watts power into a 210 ist not really needed, you wouldn´t hear a difference to 600 Watt. You get a much better performance with a second Cab and it sounds much more dynamic than a single 210 at the Limit.

@ riotriot. The Grill on Your Cab is oldschool grillcloth style an that is normal for this Type of retro-cabinet. My Regular Cabs have a massive 1,5 mm Steelgrill with Rubberdamping. This is a much better Protection, but looks not oldschool like.
The Tolex covered Cabs can be ordered with oldschool grillcloth ore massive steelgrill.
For the oldschool fans with grillcloth cabs would be a case the optimum of protection. Normally a good quality Cover would also help
to protect the cab. This Covers can also be ordered from FMC.

thanks for the response. the 2x10 i'm searching for is intended to be a second cabinet already (i have a 600W 4x10), to be connected to a 2x600W bass amp.
unless i'm being to obsessive about the 600W.

Sometimes at meetings we invite producers of amps and basses. Of course you are welcome the next time, Hans.
But because of the long distance we understand it's not that easy for you. I promise once I receive my cab I will take it to next meeting so my basscollegues can judge for themselves.

sorry for the late Answer ! The Cover for This big cab costs 69.- Euros. Handmade with real thick good quality
Material simmilar to Leather.

Wat is trouwens de standaarduitvoering van die kasten? Op de pagina staan een hele hoop prachtige uitvoeringen maar iets zegt me dat dit niet de uitvoeringen zijn die je krijgt voor de genoemde prijzen. Voor een Ampeg look zag ik al wel een meerprijs staan van 125E. Ik zit flink te gassen op die 2128 in een SWR of Ampeg look
